„100 Jahre Kruger Nationalpark mit Dirk Steffens“ enters the final stretch

The production of our film „100 Jahre Kruger Nationalpark mit Dirk Steffens“ (WDR, 2026) is entering its final phase: On March 24, Dirk Steffens and our writer and director Annette Scheurich met at Atrium Studios in Munich for the voice recording. We are very pleased that strong visuals and a compelling story have now been brought together with a distinctive voice.

Dirk Steffens lends the film his unmistakable narrative style—engaging, curious, and driven by a deep understanding of the bigger picture. He guides the audience on a journey through the park’s rich history, its extraordinary wildlife, and the pressing challenges it faces today.

With the narration now complete, the production has entered its final phase, and post-production is in full swing.

The film will premiere on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 8:15 PM on ARD.

We’re very much looking forward to sharing it with audiences.
