For more than a century, film makers have been heading off into the wild in the hopes of enchanting audiences worldwide with their spectacular animal films. The nature film has had a more profound effect on man’s perception of nature than almost any other medium. And vice versa. Nature films also document history. They tell us a great deal about the relationship between man and animal.
