We are happy to receive the Young Audience Award for our film "Carousel of Life - The Traditional Orchard" (BR / ARTE / WDR) at the Naturfilmtage Jena 2015! Congratulations to everyone on the team!

We are happy, that our film “Storks - A Village Rooftop Saga” (ZDF/Arte) is being screened in competition at the Mountainfilm Graz 2015. The festival will take place from 10th – 14th November 2015.

Marco Polo Film AG will once again be present at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival in 2015. Annette & Klaus Scheurich, who were also on the preselection jury, will be travelling to beautiful Wyoming from 28.9.2015 – 2.10.2015.

At this year’s Matsalu Film Festival (MAFF) in Estonia, our film “Polar Bear Summer” (WDR/Smithsonian Channel) won the prize for Best Camera. Congratulations to our camera team Klaus Scheurich, Steffen & Alexander Sailer, as well as Matthias Breiter, on their success!

From 16th – 20th September 2015, the annual Matsalu Film Festival (MAFF) takes place in Estonia. This year, our film “Polar Bear Summer” has been nominated for an award – we’re keeping our fingers crossed that our boss and cameraman, Klaus Scheurich, brings home one of the coveted prizes!

We’re especially pleased that our film, “Polar Bear Summer” is being screened in competition at the Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam. We’re looking forward to the Festival that will take place from 29th October – 1st November 2015, and congratulate everyone involved!

“Animals are always a hit – What demands do Nature films meet?” – This is the topic covered by the SWR 2 forum (Germany’s regional TV channel) on 22.07.2015 on the occasion of this year’s “Naturvision” nature film festival in Ludwigsburg. Annette Scheurich will appear on the show as a guest along with Udo Zimmermann of BR (Bavarian Radio) and Dr Kay Hoffmann of Naturvision, hosted by Gábor Paál. Every year the NaturVision team invites filmmakers and film enthusiasts to attend their film festival in Ludwigsburg. This time it will be from 23rd – 26th July 2015. The Marco Polo Film AG team will also be present again this year, and we’re looking forward to seeing plenty of faces and films!
