"They Came to Stay - Our Alien Animal Neighbours: Parakeets" in Rotterdam

"Banquet of the Beasts" wins German Biodiversity Film Award 2021

We feel very honoured that "Banquet of the Beasts" (BR/Arte) won the German Biodiversity Film Award at Naturvision 2021.
Congratulations to the team: the directors Daniela Pulverer and Boris Raim, the camera team Klaus Scheurich and Aaron Schwab, the commissioning editors from BR/Arte Christine Peters and Katja Ferwagner, editor Marlon Wilson, composer Oliver Heuss, sound designer Oliver Engelhardt and many thanks to everybody involved. Especially, we would like to thank the Bavarian Forest National Park for their support.

Shooting on Crete for "The Beach"

Finally the pandemic situation has allowed us to film for our new ARTE project! Annette and Klaus are currently filming exciting and unexpected nature and animal stories on Crete, which take place in, on and around the beach. "Jewels of the Alps" in the Official Selection of Green Screen Festival

No nomination - but we are proud that two of our films of our "Jewels of the Alps" series (ZDF/Arte) Lago d' Iseo and Lake Como by Rosie Koch and Mio Brehm, will be screened at the GREEN SCREEN International Nature Film Festival Eckernförde. And of course we hope to join the event!

We are very pleased that our film "Banquet of the Beasts" (BR/Arte) by Daniela Pulverer and Boris Raim has been nominated in the category "German Film Award Biodiversity" at this year's Natur Vision Film Festival! So we will enter the competition with three films - thank you to the selection jury!

„Extremer Kinderwunsch“ at Scinema Festival, Australia

The International Science Festival "Scinema" has included our film "Extremer Kinderwunsch - Gebärmuttertransplantation" (ZDF) about Uterus transplantations by Dietmar Klumpp in its competition. We are pleased that this exciting film has made it to Down Under and are keeping our fingers crossed!

Baby News!

As bear sponsors of Heidelberg Zoo, we are especially happy about the birth of Merle, a female Syrian brown bear! The little one was born in January and is now exploring the world after a few weeks of hibernation. Naturvision Festival 2021

Three of our films are nominated at this year's "Naturvision" Film Festival: "Carousel of Life - The Traditional Orchard" (BR/Arte) and "The Secret Life of Cows – Wild at heart" (ZDF/Arte) for the Baden-Württemberg Film Award and "Banquet of the Beasts" (BR/Arte) for the International Competition. The festival will take place online from 14-18 July 2021 and we are keeping our fingers crossed until then!

World Wildlife Day 2021

The UN World Wildlife Day was found on March 3rd 2013 in order to raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. In 2021 it will be celebrated under the theme "Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet". Also, the Jackson Wild Showcase 2021 focuses on films about forests and their importance for us and our planet: https://vimeo.com/518465144
